  • 2 cups of roasted vermicelli
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 diced capsicum
  • ½ cup beans
  • ½ cup carrots
  • 3-4 tbsp roasted peanuts
  • 2 green chillies
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil


Step 1
In a pan, put 2 tbsp of oil and then add mustard seeds.
Step 2
Put in cumin seeds along with curry leaves and roast for a while.
Step 3
Let the seeds crackle and then add sliced onion.
Step 4
Once your onions turn golden brown, add green chillies, beans, carrots and capsicum.
Step 5
Saute your vegetables for at least 5-6 minutes.

Add turmeric powder and salt, as per your taste.

Add 3-4 cups of water and mix everything well.

Let the water simmer and then add your roasted vermicelli.

Cook the vermicelli on medium flame for the next 5 minutes, until the water evaporates.

Your delicious vermicelli is now ready to be savoured. Serve hot and garnish it with roasted peanuts.
