Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rava/sooji/semolina
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1 tbsp refined oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2-3 curry leaves
- Handful of chopped coriander leaves
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 medium size carrot
- 1 onion
Instructions
- Step 1
- Start with heating mixing curd and rava in a bowl. Then add chopped onions, grated carrot, salt, chopped coriander leaves, and green chili paste. Mix well and keep it aside.
- Step 2
- Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves in it. Let them crackle for a few seconds. Make sure you keep flame low otherwise tadka will get burned.
- Step 3
- Pour this tadka to the batter and mix well.
- Step 4
- Next, heat paniyaram pan and fill each section with half a tbsp ghee and batter. Let them cook on medium-low flame. Flip them until they turn golden yellow in colour.

- Serve them hot with coconut chutney.
