Ingredients

  • 200g Chickpeas (Rinsed And Drained)
  • 1/2 Small Red Onion Chopped
  • 1/2 Garlic Clove Chopped
  • Some Flat-Leaf Parsley
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Plain Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Sunflower Oil
  • Toasted Pitta Bread
  • 100g Tub Tomato Salsa
  • Green Salad

Instructions

Step 1
Drain the chickpeas and then dry them using a kitchen tissue.
Step 2
Then transfer it to the food processor along with the onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, chili powder, flour and salt to taste.
Step 3
Blend this well and then shape 2 -3 patties out of it, using your hands.
Step 4
Heat the oil in the pan and fry the patties in it for around 3 minutes until they turn golden brown.
Step 5
Now take a pita bread, slice it into two halves and add the fried patties, tomato salsa and salad to it, and serve with tomato ketchup.
