  • Start by cooking the white peas in a pressure cooker with water, turmeric, chili powder, and salt and wait for 4 whistles. Then take out the peas and mash them and keep aside.
  • Mash the boiled potatoes and add think poha turmeric, chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, and salt.  Mix it all nicely and shape the pattice.
  • Shallow fry these in a pan until they turn brown and crispy.
  • Then keep the ragada on the plate and add the pattice.
  • Layer the pattice with more ragada and pour green chutney with tamarind chutney. 
  • Finally on top of this, sprinkle the chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, and finally add the salt and garnish with tomatoes, sec coriander leaves
  • And serve hot!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup White Peas
  • 3 Cup Water
  • 4 Medium Potatoes (Boiled And Peeled)
  • 4 Tablespoon Thick Poha
  • 2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • Oil For Roasting Pattice
  • 3 Teaspoon Green Chutney
  • 3 Teaspoon Tamarind Chutney
  • 1/4 Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 Tomato Finely Chopped
  • 1 Cup Sev
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Fried peanuts

Instructions

Step 1
Take the white peas, water, turmeric, red chili powder and salt and cook in pressure cooker.
Step 2
Take out the peas and mash them.
Step 3
Take the boiled potatoes and mash them too.
Step 4
Take a different bowl and add potatoes along with poha and the spices.
Step 5
Mix it all nicely and and shape patties out of it.
Step 6
Shallow fry the patties and add the ragada to them.
Step 7
Finally top with green chutney, tamarind sauce, tomatoes, sev and coriander leaves and serve hot!
