Here’s how to make Korean Style Radish Kimchi Fried Rice:
Cut the radish kimchi and Spam into small, equal-sized pieces. Spread the cooked rice on a plate to cool down. This helps keep the rice from getting soggy when you fry it.
Heat oil in a large pan. Add chopped green onions and cook them quickly. Then add the Spam and cook until it turns golden and crispy.
Put the chopped kimchi in the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes to bring out its strong flavour.
Mix in soy sauce, kimchi juice, sugar, gochujang, and a little water. This creates a tasty sauce that will flavour the rice.
Add the cooked rice to the pan. Break up any lumps and spread it evenly. Cover the pan and let it cook until the bottom of the rice gets crispy.
Drizzle sesame oil over the rice. Add sesame seeds and seaweed strips on top. If you like, put a fried egg on the side.
