- Finely grind methi seeds into a powder. Mix in milk, ensuring a smooth blend. Allow the mixture to soak for 5-8 hours, enabling the methi to absorb the liquid and transform into a thick dough that will eventually dry.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ¼ cup of ghee over medium heat. Add edible gum and fry until it pops. Remove the gum from the pan, let it cool, then grind it into a fine powder using a mixer grinder.
- Add the soaked methi powder to the pan and fry until crumbly. Next, mix in the ground gum and sauté until it turns golden brown. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Then, dry roast the coconut until fragrant and add it to the same bowl.
- Add ¼ cup ghee to the pan, followed by chopped nuts. Roast until golden, then cool and grind coarsely. Add to the bowl. Roast wheat flour until fragrant and golden brown, then transfer to the bowl. Complete the mixture by adding cardamom powder and dry ginger powder.
- Add jaggery to the pan and heat on low, stirring until melted and smooth. Bring to a boil, then pour the syrup through a sieve into the bowl. Blend well with a ladle. Once warm, divide into small portions and shape into round laddus. Continue until all mixture is utilized. Preserve the laddus in an airtight jar.
