Heading out to work, many of us are in a rush to leave the house. An apple smoothie is the best way to go! Cut some apples, pour in some oats and some yogurt, you’ll be ready to hit the road sooner than before!

Here's how you can make one for yourself!

  • Add the apple chunks and the almonds to a blender jar.
  • Add milk, yogurt, honey, and oats to the jar.
  • Blend until smooth and no visible chunks of apple. 
  • Pour prepared smoothie into a chilled serving glass and sprinkle cinnamon over it (optional). 

Drink it immediately for better taste because it will turn brown within half an hour.

Ingredients

  • 1 Apple (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Oats (soak 10 minutes before using)
  • ½ cup of Milk
  • ½ cup of Yogurt
  • 5 Almonds (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • A dash of Cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

Step 1
Peel and cut the apple into halves. Remove the core and cut the apple into large pieces.
Step 2
Add the apple chunks of 1 apple and the 5 almonds to a blender jar.
Step 3
Add ½ a cup of milk, ½ a cup of yogurt,1 tbsp of honey and ½ a cup of oats to the jar.

Blend until smooth and no visible chunks of apple.
