Soak chana dal, urad dal, curd, semolina, and water in a bowl.
Blend the mixture into a smooth batter and transfer it to a bowl.
Add ginger, green chilies, curry leaves, coriander, and salt; mix well.
Combine oil and baking soda, then add it to the batter and whisk.
