Give a little creative twist to the good old French toasts with this recipe for finger-licking French toast kebabs.

In a preheated oven up to 250°F, bake the French bread and cut it into 1-inch cubes before or after baking, as per your convenience. Then, slightly beat eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Add the baked cubes to the mixture and stir till all the cubes are coated. For convenience, you can do this process in 2-3 batches. Use a slotted spoon to take the soaked bread cubes out of the mixture and cook them in butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Keep flipping them to make sure they are cooked and brown on all sides. Thread the fruits and the cooked bread cubes on the skewers and serve with maple syrup, sprinkled powdered sugar and love.

  • 1 packet of refrigerated French bread
  • 6-inch bamboo skewers
  • powdered sugar
  • maple syrup
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup raspberries or strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Step

  1. Step 1:

    First, bake the French bread cut into 1-inch cubes in an oven preheated to 250°F.

  2. Step 2:

    Slightly beat eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in another bowl, add the baked bread cubes to it, stir, and let them soak. You can also do this in two or three batches.

  3. Step 3:

    Melt butter in a saucepan and cook the soaked bread cubes over medium-high heat and frequently flip them till they are brown on all sides.

    Take the cooked bread cubes and fruits on skewers.
