Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
  • 3/4 tbsp khoya
  • 5 chopped almonds
  • 6 chopped pistachios
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp ghee for greasing

Instructions

Step 1
Make a sugar syrup by dissolving sugar and water completely and thicken it a bit.
Step 2
Now just add all the grated coconut and mix the solution well.
Step 3
Next add khoya and the green cardamom powder. Mix them well.
Step 4
Grease a steel or tin tray with the ghee and sprinkle some chopped dry fruits on the barfi.
Step 5
Add in the mixture and spread it on the tray and then refrigerate for about 15 minutes to let it set.
Step 6
Cut into squares or the desired shape and serve cold.
