Bread roll has been a popular breakfast choice for many Indians. Also, known as ‘Indian Potato Croquettes’, in India, there's hardly anybody who hasn't already had a bite of the scrumptious snack.
Step-By-Step Guide-
- In a large bowl, add shredded boiled potatoes, chopped onion, bell pepper, cilantro, and ginger.
- Add all the desired spices and sprinkle 3-4 tsp water.
- Mix and form a smooth dough.
- Now dip each bread slice in water and squeeze to remove excess water.
- Wet your hand and place 1.5 Tbsp bread roll dough in your palm.
- Allowing the bread to be the outer covering, shape the bread rolls into the desired shape like round, oblong or ball-like.
- Now heat 1 cup oil in a pot or shallow pan.
- Add 3-4 raw bread rolls and fry on medium flames until golden brown on both sides.
