Here’s what works in favour of Cello’s dining range:

  • It offers dinner sets - that help set the theme if you want one.

Tiffin and Lunch Box Options from Borosil and Cello

This is an area where both brands are in close competition – and offer similar products.

Borosil tiffins are often made of borosilicate glass containers with airtight, leak-proof lids. They are microwave- and oven-safe (without the lid) and great for reheating meals at work. They are perfect for work.

However, there’s a downside: Glass tiffins are heavier and less suited for children’s lunch boxes. They can also be too heavy for those carrying tiffins over long distances, or using a commute like the metro.

Cello tiffins come in multiple materials like stainless steel, insulated, and high-quality BPA-free plastic.

The brand caters to all budgets, from school-friendly lightweight boxes to office tiffins that keep food warm for hours. They even have cute designs for kids!

Both brands have carry bag options, but Borosil has more of those on their website.

Prices for both are similar for the same type of products.

Cooking Performance: Both Borosil and Cello Offer Premium Cookware

When it comes to cookware, both brands have an extensive range of pans, kadhais, pressure cookers. However, at the time this article was written, a lot of products on Cello’s website were out of stock.

Products from both brands seemed to be made with premium materials. They are also on the costlier side, with average pricing being around INR 3000.

Durability and safety are standout USPs of Borosil.

A standout product from Cello, though, was the Ironica Grill Pan, which comes with a lifetime warranty. It was priced at INR 2795.
