Riteish has been grafting on this film since 2023, and after years of prep, his massive period drama is finally hitting cinemas this Friday. It’s a smart bit of scheduling too, as the release on 1 May lines up perfectly with Maharashtra Day.

Advance tickets went live on Monday, April 27, 2026, and judging by the early response, there’s a real appetite for this story. Even with stiff competition from the ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ sequel and Junaid Khan’s ‘Ek Din’, ‘Raja Shivaji’ is already holding its own at the box office
