The movie's screening at a venue as prestigious and popular as Cannes increased the buzz around the film as well. ‘Kennedy’ stars Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhat in the lead roles. ‘Kennedy’ focuses on the insomniac police officer who goes through various situations while seeking redemption.

‘Kennedy’ by Anurag Kashyap is the first Indian movie to be screened at The Grand Lumiere Theatre in the midnight section. He made a comeback to the Cannes Film Festival in 2023 with this movie, where he had previously shown movies including ‘Bombay Talkies’, ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’, and ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’.
