Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia have teamed up for The Vvaan, where faith meets folklore. The movie promises to bring a blend of light-hearted moments, good on-screen chemistry between the leads, mystery, and action. Here's our review of the trailer for The Vvaan.

The Vvaan Trailer Review:

The trailer begins with supernatural events happening in a small village, where it shows an ominous feels. It directly cuts to Sidharth's character, who calls the events happening in the village 'utter rubbish'.
He is seen living a happy life with his partner, played by Tamannaah, who believes that the goddess has called them to their village for Chhath.
Upon arriving in the village, people start talking about the trees in the name of development. The protagonist also gets into a clash with his brother regarding why it is prohibited to enter the forest after sunset.
The scene then cuts to the main character seeing glimpses of his past life, where he is a warrior.
The plot of The Vvaan looks interesting despite the similar theme of nature and folklore being explored in Kantara, Sing Geetam, and even in Stree. However, the visual effects seem promising in some scenes, but falters in other.

Who is in the cast of The Vvaan?

Apart from Sidharth and Tamannaah, the movie also stars Shweta Tiwari, Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, and Maniesh Paul.
The movie is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production. Directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand as DOP and Visual Director, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.
While speaking at the Prime Video event, Tamannaah talked about collaborating with Sidharth and praised him. "Sid was a long, long dream, and I'm very happy that I've had the chance to collaborate with him. I think he's a really fine actor," she said.
"I have to say, it's been a long time since I heard a script that I grew up loving and also has a strong soul at its heart," she added.

When will The Vvaan release?

The Vvaan will release in theatres on September 25, 2026.
