Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia are set to team up for 'The Vvaan', a mystery folklore drama set around a village. This is the actors' first project together, and the stakes are high as the audience has huge expectations from this genre. Check the first teaser of The Vvaan, as it offers an intriguing tale of supernatural elements.

The Vvaan Teaser and First Glimpse:

The teaser begins with a voice-over, "Suryast ke baad, Vvaan mein pravesh karna varjit hai (After sunset, it is not allowed to enter the Vvaan).” Sidharth's character is shown as somehow connected to the village and its forest as he gets mysterious visions.

Meanwhile, Tamannaah's character is also intricately connected to the story as she performs a puja and guides Sidharth with his strange visions. Another strange character appears frequently in the video, but not much has been revealed about it.

Who is in the cast and crew of The Vvaan?

The movie is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with TVF and 11.11 Production. Directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand as DOP and Visual Director, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.

Apart from Sidharth and Tamannaah, the movie also stars Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover and Maniesh Paul.

While speaking at the Prime Video event, Tamannaah talked about collaborating with Sidharth and praised him. "Sid was a long, long dream, and I'm very happy that I've had the chance to collaborate with him. I think he's a really fine actor," she said.

"I have to say, it's been a long time since I heard a script which I grew up loving and also has a strong soul at its heart," she added.

When will The Vvaan release?

The Vvaan will release in theatres on September 25, 2026.
