Akhil Akkineni is back on the big screens with 'Lenin', a Telugu action romance, which has been receiving a decent response from the audience. Also starring Bhagyashri Borse, the movie created a huge hype before its release. Talking about its box office collection, Lenin opened to decent numbers and even saw an increase in earnings on day 2.

According to the website Sacnilk, Lenin collected Rs 8.15 crore on day 2. It earned Rs 7.15 crore on the opening day. The movie has collected Rs 15.30 crore in total in India.

What is Lenin about?
Set in Chittoor, the movie follows Lenin and Bharathi's love story, but their romance creates a conflict in the village. Lenin has to protect his love while dealing with political tensions.
In an interview with Gulte Pro, the producer of Lenin assured that the movie will not disappoint the audience and will be a commercial hit. He said, "The general audience will not come out saying they are disappointed with Lenin. Definitely not, 200 per cent, no one will say that. And I say this after thinking it over carefully from all angles.”
Who is in the cast of Lenin?
Apart from Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse in the lead roles, Lenin also stars Ramki, Sivaji, Sunil, Brahmaji, and Easwari Rao in supporting roles.
Directed and written by Murali Kishor Abburu, the movie is produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banners of Manam Enterprises LLP and Sithara Entertainments.
Coming back to the response from the audience, Lenin received mixed reactions. According to netizens, the movie a setup for a classic commercial entertainer and does not have elements of surprise.
