The Paradise Box Office Collection Day 1: Nani’s Action Drama Beats Bahubali, Earns ₹75 Crore

Director Srikanth Odela’s highly anticipated period action drama, The Paradise, featuring superstar Nani alongside Kayadu Lohar and Raghav Juyal, registered a strong theatrical opening today on September 24, 2026. Marking the second collaboration between Odela and Nani following their massive box-office hit Dasara, the project generated immense pre-release anticipation. An impressive advance-booking phase successfully laid the groundwork for a formidable first-day showcase across Indian cinema halls. 

Day 1 Breakdown: The Paradise Earns ₹75 Crore Net in India 

According to early trade estimates, The Paradise secured a domestic net collection of ₹75 Crore on day 1. The film opened across 4171 shows all over India and recorded an overall theatre occupancy rate of roughly 47% on its day 1. 

State-Wise Performance: Telugu Occupancy and Regional Collections 

The original Telugu version dominated the opening collection, generating ₹75 crore net with a strong 59% occupancy rate across 2,304 shows. The dubbed releases saw quieter starts; the Hindi version and the Tamil version together could bring ₹4 crore of revenue, where the Telugu cinema is doing the heavy lifting in getting those numbers.

The Paradise Plot And Highlights

Set against the gritty backdrop of 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise centers on intense themes of systemic oppression, survival, and the battle for basic human rights. Nani delivers a raw performance as the central character, Jadal, with Kayadu Lohar starring as the female lead. The movie's visual scale and action sequences are further amplified by Anirudh Ravichander’s dramatic musical score.

The Paradise Beats Bahubali

The ₹75 crore is just a starting for Nani's Paradise. From looking at the numbers, it seems that the movie has entered into the Top-40 openings of all time. The film is right behind Stree:2 which earned ₹80 crores on it day 1. It has has managed to beat big blockbusters like Baahubali The Beginning ( ₹73 crore) and War ( ₹74 crore)

Who Is In The Cast Of The Paradise? 

Apart from Nani, the movie also stars Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar, and Sonali Kulkarni in pivotal roles.
