Basically, Akhil played all 5 Pandavas & took on all 100 Kauravas.

Knew the twists beforehand, but it is what it is. A couple of them land, yet the film eventually feels overstuffed.

It seems like Lenin has received a mixed response from the audience. As per several reviews by the netizens, the movie starts on a strong note but slows down as the story progresses. The viewers also noted that the film has a setup for a classic commercial entertainer and does not have elements of surprise. Despite the criticism, Lenin seems to be a decent watch according to the viewers.

What is Lenin about?

The story is set in Chittoor, Rayalaseema, and focuses on Lenin and Bharathi's love story. Things take a violent turn when their love story creates a conflict in the village, and Lenin has to protect his love while dealing with political tensions.

While speaking to Gulte Pro, the producer of Lenin assured that the movie will not disappoint the audience and will be a commercial hit. He said, "The general audience will not come out saying they are disappointed with Lenin. Definitely not, 200 per cent, no one will say that. And I say this after thinking it over carefully from all angles.”

This is also Akhil's first film in three years. His last film 'Agent' was a commercial failure, after which the actor decided to step back for a while but also promised to be back with a good film.

Who is in the cast of Lenin?

Apart from Akhil Akkineni, the movie also stars Bhagyashri Borse in the lead role. Ramki, Sivaji, Sunil, Brahmaji, and Easwari Rao are seen in supporting roles.  

Directed and written by Murali Kishor Abburu, the movie is produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banners of Manam Enterprises LLP and Sithara Entertainments.

Conclusion:

According to netizens, Lenin has elements to become a good commercial entertainer but does not offer anything new to the audience. However, it might become a commercial hit fans have been waiting for.
