On Thursday afternoon, September 8, 2022, Queen Elizabeth II passed away, at her residence in Balmoral. The 96-year-old British monarch who held the record for the longest reign lived a fascinating life, one that was full of responsibilities, accomplishments, and significant experiences. Along with the dignity she had as the Queen of England, her personality and unique sense of style will always be remembered. Over the years, the monarch never failed to make a fashion statement. Here we can see Queen Elizabeth II wearing a Norman Hartnell satin evening dress with diamond earrings, necklace, and bracelet. The necklace was given to then Princess Elizabeth as a wedding present in 1947 from the Nizam of Hyderabad.

These outfits were worn by the British Queen to celebrate joyous moments in her Silver, Golden, Diamond, and Platinum Jubilee years. Even though she clearly preferred pastels, she never shied away from bold and bright neon shades.

At a special parade at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, The Queen, joined by The Duke of Rothesay, was presented with a ‘Reddendo’ gift from The Royal Company of Archer’s. She wore a pale blue outfit with a matching hat, white gloves, coloured shades, along with a white pearl necklace and earrings.

In 2019, The Queen and Members of The Royal Family welcomed the world's ambassadors to #BuckinghamPalace at the annual Diplomatic Reception. The reception, attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps based in London, supports the work of the Royal Family in representing the UK at home and abroad. The Queen wore a long white gown with a diamond and emerald necklace and crown.
