Yes, the couple is finally married! Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet tied the knot in the Gurudwara over the weekend with not many celebs in attendance and little media allowed. The couple might have tried their best to be discreet but pictures and videos from all their functions keep popping up. The million-dollar smile on the bride's face and the ecstatic vibe on Rohanpreet's face is proof that the two had a beautiful time. If their pictures and videos were not enough, all us women had our eyes n what Neha wore on every occasion, every wedding function that followed up to the D-0day and bridal goals they are!
From her lehenga to jewellery to the makeup and hairstyles, here is everything I list down that the millennial brides might want o take inspiration from as one thing I noticed was that Neha wore nothing Over The Top, yet looked gorgeous.
The Delhi Reception Lehenga, Jewellery & Makeup
This was the last function from Neha & Rohanpreet's wedding, their reception held in Delhi. Like any bride, Neha's wide smile brought a huge difference to her look as she looked comfortable in what she wore. She wore a heavy lehenga with a lot of zari and gota patti work on a vermillion red number with deep necklace drops. The kundan and pearl work necklace added "chaar chaand" to her ensemble with 3 inch long earrings and the nath. The blouse had a deep neck so the necklace with three layers stood out. For makeup, it was nothing loud as she stuck to the latest trend of going minimal. Her eyebrows were neatly shaped with little mascara and she wore a red pout. Her hairstyle as well was eased out messy bun which may have been held in place with a few pins but she did not look so worried about it.
Wedding Day Look
Most brides imagine wearing the best of lehengas on their wedding day with intricate work and mind-boggling jewellery. The traditional colour red was out long ago and women prefer lighter hues like peach and pink and even pistachio lehengas. Neha Kakkar as well went foram onion pink lehenga with a lot of zari work all over with pearls sewed in. Her jewellery was gorgeous as she wore a huge chhapka along with a maang tika, long kundan work earrings and a choker. Her makeup again was not as loud. She wore a magenta-purple lip shade with a small bindi and heavy mascara.
There is no day when Neha did not look pretty. Her ensemble even on this day looked beautiful! The bottle green lehenga in silk finish stood out with a jadau choker, maang tika and earrings. Her messy bun looked perfect. Her makeup here as well looked simple and fresh. She wore an orange lipstick that matched with the print on her lehenga and dupatta.
Neha's look for her haldi was very practical yet she looked pretty. Her plain yellow attire was just perfect for the event when you tend to get stains but her gajra look with the messy bun was perfect. Her silver payals looked pretty and the silver jhumkas completed the simple look. But what I am loving is Rohanpreet's look with that matching shawl that added colour. Notto miss the matching white loafers he wore with the kurta and white pajama.
The couple was all grins throughout and super excited at their own wedding. They danced, sang for each other, professing love, a wedding to remember indeed especially when we have two singers in the house.
May the couple have a lovely journey till the end. Stay tuned to HerZindagi for more.
