Inside Karan Johar's Party For Katy Perry: Alia To Anushka, Best And Worst Dressed Celebs

American pop singer Katy Perry is in Mumbai for her One Plus concert and ahead of that, filmmaker Karan Johar hosted a big party for her at his residence yesterday. 

It was a star-studded night with all the big names from Bollywood in attendance. Bollywood celebrities like Aishwarya Rai, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Ananya Panday, Jacqueline Fernandes, Arjun Kapoor attended the party among others. 

Star of the night, Katy Perry was dressed in a beautiful purple and gold strapless ensemble. Her hair were tied in a high pony and for accessories, she wore quirky heart shaped earrings. 

Let's quickly take you through who wore what for the party. While some left us impressed as usual, we feel some could have done it better with their fashion choices.

Anushka Sharma wore a short white dress with puffed sleeves. For accessories, she wore a watch and bracelet set. We loved her makeup, matte glow and smokey eyes. Her hair were kept straight on the sides. 

Aishwarya Rai wore a black dress with a multi-coloured embroidered long jacket. I found this one a little dull for the event. Neha Dhupia wore a yellow and grey floral dress for the party. I feel something glitzy would have worked way better for Neha as per the occasion. What do you think?

Alia Bhatt kept her look really casual with a shirt dress. Like always, her makeup was kept minimal. 

Kiara Advani was a total stunner in a cream co-ord set. We loved her makeup, her eyes were kept bold and the rest of her face was kept nude.

Ananya wore a black sheer top with black leather pants. Wonder what she was thinking! We have such high expectations from this star kid.

Shanaya Kapoor wore a black strapless dress for the party. She carried the look with a pink clutch which we didn't really like. Aditi Rao Hydari wore a velvet blazer dress for the party last night. 

Malaika Arora like always looked great, she wore a sequins dress for the party.  Malaika's beau Arjun Kapoor too attended the party in smart casuals. Jacqueline Fernandes wore a strapless silver and black dress for the party. Her look was accessorised with beautiful jewellery pieces from Mahesh Notandass.

Kajol wore a black and white single-shoulder dress for the night. However, we feel there was something missing! We didn't really like the lip shade she carried off with the look. A pop colour on her lips would have added so much to her look.
