The national capital of India is all prepared, with Bharat Mandapam, airports, roads and important buildings all decked up to welcome the delegates for the 18th BRICS Summit in India from September 12-13, 2026. The event will be held at Bharat Mandapam for both days, with a vast menu prepared by the team at The Leela Palace, The Taj Mahal and The Lalit, New Delhi, for the foreign delegations arriving in New Delhi for the summit.

As per the reports, the menu is specifically curated keeping in mind the dietary preferences and likings of the delegations who are going to be present for both days, with a focus on Indian cuisines and wellness-focused food offerings to represent India as a superfood-rich nation and its traditions.

As reported by PTI, the Leela's Aujasya wellness menu features ingredients like bajra, jowar, sattu, millet, and dishes like quinoa upma. The menu will also include millet ladoos, millet trail mixes (Savoury), granola bars, kesar pista kalas, and sugar-free anjeer and cashew nut rolls prepared from monk fruit.

The menu at the BRICS Summit will also feature a lotus-inspired dessert featuring cardamom, saffron and rose to highlight the culture and national love of India; it will also be kept as an in-room amenity for the delegates coming for BRICS.

What Will World Leaders Eat At BRICS Summit 2026?

From Kashmiri spiced walnuts, galouti kebabs to edible lotus, a variety of foods are being prepared for the delegates who are visiting India with spouses, business delegations and more.

The Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi will serve all the VVIP guests with the 'Tradition to table' concept. It is basically a collection of recipes curated by the Taj chefs and inspired by the culinary mentors and their mothers to showcase the rich Indian hospitality and soul of culinary traditions with each dish.

Rajasthani Mini Kachori, Bengal's Kucho Nimki, Tamil Nadu's Murukku, Purani Dilli Maida Kaju and Maharashtra's Bhakarwadi.
