Vikrant Massey To Open Two Real-Life Musafir Cafes In Himachal And Uttarakhand; Details Inside

Vikrant Massey will take the movie world and turn it into reality, as the 'Musafir Cafe' actor is set to open two cafes in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Both cafes will replicate the one featured in his Netflix series. There have been reports and a first look at the cafe construction already released; here is everything you need to know.

The construction for both cafes is already underway and is set to be inaugurated soon. The cafe will be a lively space for artists to live and create, with panoramic views of the Himalayas, and a space that feels comfortable. 

As per the report by Bollywood Hungama, the cafes will be seen offering more than just food and drinks to the visitors. 

What We Know About Vikrant Massey’s Musafir Cafe Project

The two cafes will have 20 dedicated rooms for the artist residencies; the idea is to provide them with a space where they can stay, work, interact, and peacefully create work in the beauty of the mountains. The report also said that the project is an extension of the world of Musafir Cafe beyond the screen.

The project will be a collaboration with Homemade Stories, the production company behind Musafir Cafe. Discussions for the culinary initiative are underway, with no official confirmation of any part of Vikrant's involvement.

As per the Indian Express, reports of the project came out as Vikrant Massey shared his plans to open a cafe in Himachal. Massey shared that he wants to open a cafe around Dharamkot or Dharamshala, or Chamba and Kufri as the possible locations for the cafe. 

When asked about the name he would prefer for his cafe, Vikrant shared that it will be on his Netflix series and also that he will himself sit in the cafe. He said there are already 16-17 cafes named 'Musafir Cafe' in India.

Where Is The Real-Life Musafir Cafe Located?

Not just a name from the series, but Musafir Cafe does exist in real life. It is located in Mussoorie, as part of Jharipani Castle, a heritage property of the Patiala House near the Oak Grove School.
