Landour is a small, sleepy hill station hidden off of Mussoorie. Here, time goes slowly, relationships go deeper, and the conversation grows around the pines. Be it sharing a fresh bun in a bakery that is 100 years old or silently walking down deodars, Landour is a beautiful indicator of the fact that the most memorable trips are the ones when we take them with somebody we love. The following five places are a must-visit if you are in Landour.
5 Must-Visit Places in Landour
1) Chaar Dukaan
Chaar Dukan, an array of four old and vintage stores that are now a local landmark, is not to be missed when one is at Landour. It is a tranquil corner found beside St. Paul's Church, and it is famous for serving homemade waffles, bun omelets and ginger lemon honey tea. It has not appeared in government tourism sites but is regularly singled out as having a nostalgic flavour and the old world charm by Mussoorie Heritage Walks and long term visitors. It is a sort of place where one patronizes a conversation longer than tea.
2) British-era Churches
The beauty of Landour is that it is a walkable and silent beauty. Incredible India calls it a “paradise of walking,” and it is “where every nook drifts with the bristling tales of British Raj- ancient churches, hidden bungalows wrapped in ivy.” This is more or less like time-traveling- but you get the best time here.

3. Lal Tibba Viewpoint
Technically, Lal Tibba is also a part of Mussoorie; however, the experience you get in Landour once you visit this spot is unparalled. It is the loftiest point of the region and provides an aerial visibility of the mountains- Kedarnath and Badrinath. Lal Tibba is a nice location to sit with your friends, have some tea, and feel the beauty. In this place, selfies during a golden hour and tranquility are mandatory.
4. St. Paul’s Church
St. Paul's Church, which was constructed in 1839, has an air of profound silence and is enclosed by deodar trees. It is not merely a praying ground, but a place to pause. It has served as an ideal background for heart-to-heart conversations or even some moments of self-analysis for many. Uttarakhand Tourism generally features this site in heritage walks.
5. Sisters Bazaar
Once you come back after the walks, visit Sisters Bazaar (a small but renowned lane lined up with colonial houses and shops such as Prakash, etc). Here, you find homemade peanut butter, jams, and pickles. Although not enumerated in government pages, the place is acclaimed by Mussoorie Heritage Walks due to its turn-of-the-century elegance and authentic local produce.
