Befitting the quintessential description of a beach with its serene blue waters and palm-lined stretch, Ezhimala is a travelers heaven. It is 55 kms away from Kannur and has stone like pillar scattered all over. Besides its scenic views, the beach also holds a strong cultural reverence among the culture vultures. It is believed that Lord Buddha stopped at this beach while he was traveling across India. Next to the beach is a small hillock which stands tall at 286 ft, and invites a number of nature lovers to explore a variety of herbs that grow there.
