Selfies have become a must-have travel memory, but you can be fined at these destinations, as not every famous location in the world allows visitors to click pictures without proper permission. Simply, a selfie can turn out to be dangerous, as many people have died taking a selfie in a few places. The Taj Mahal, situated in Agra, India, is probably one of the most well-known monuments in the world. It is also one of the seven wonders of the world. Capturing selfies inside the monument was already banned, which would be a reason you would have never seen the inside of the establishment. As of 2017, selfies have also been banned. And this is not a loose ban; guards are always on alert and don’t let tourists take a selfie.

2. Disneyland, California

Disneyland is one of the best theme parks to visit in the world. It is located in California and was constructed under the direction of Walt Disney. It features huge castles, rides, shops, models, and costumed performers. It is a once-in-a-lifetime moment for many children. And a fantastic spot to take a selfie, but Disneyland banned selfie sticks from 1st July 2015 because some tourists were taking selfies while on rides, which could be dangerous for people.

3. Colosseum, Rome

Located in Rome, the Colosseum is one of the most remarkable monuments of Rome. One of the seven wonders of the world, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre. The Colosseum is visited by over 6 million people from around the world every year. Yet taking a selfie is now allowed in this historic monument, as it will block the movement of visitors, as well as damage fragile artefacts that are kept on display.

4. Pamplona, Spain

Pamplona is a region in Spain where the most dangerous bull race is held. It is also the most visited place in Spain. Taking selfies in Pamplona is banned because of the inappropriate behaviour of people. Many people have lost their lives trying to click a selfie during the match. So, taking selfies is banned during this event; participants cannot carry recording devices, and the same goes with the viewers; they cannot take photos.
