This Country Played Matchmaker By Sending 1000 Single Men & Women On A 'Love Train' Journey!

There are so many single people in China that they eventually played matchmakers and got 1000 single men and women together on a train journey so that they can find their love! This train was created 3 years back with 10-carriages

Known as the Y999 Love-Pursuit Train, this train has served more than 3000 singles on its annual trips and 10 couples have gotten married after meeting each other on this love journey.

Shared by a UK based news portal called Daily Mail, this trip is a two-day one-night journey which was initiated by the railway authority of Chengdu with the Communist Youth League of Chongqing. Interesting right? Can you imagine that in India where we have love jihad happening?

What's more? The organisers have designed interesting games for passengers and they also get to enjoy a variety of dining options. These activities help these individuals in knowing each other better.  

The travellers embarking this journey were even invited to stop over at the ancient water town of Zhuo Shui, where they saw a traditional performance and enjoyed a 1000 people banquet.

As per a woman's testimonial on this journey, she even found a boyfriend. She said: "We realised that we both wanted the kind of love that is depicted in the poem To the Oak Tree when both sides admire each other but remain independent."

So the demographics are really sad and tragic for China. According to some estimates, almost 30 million Chinese men will be wifeless over the next 30 years. This happened because of the one-child policy, which resulted in several couples aborting their unborn girl in order to have a boy. However, the policy was removed in 2016.
