5 Best Coffee Cafes In Delhi-NCR For Every Coffee Lover

Whether you need a quiet corner to get some work done or a spot to catch up with friends over a proper brew, Delhi’s coffee scene has truly come into its own lately. Over the last two or three years, we’ve seen a massive shift away from generic instant blends towards high-quality, Indian-grown beans sourced directly from estates in the South.
I’ve spent a fair amount of my free time exploring these new openings, and the variety is fantastic. From nationwide chains that have mastered the art of the roast to tiny standalone shops with a loyal community following, there is something for every kind of coffee drinker.
Best Coffee Cafes In Delhi-NCR
Here are five of my absolute favourite coffee spots across Delhi-NCR that I find myself returning to time and again.
Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters
Blue Tokai is probably the first name that comes to mind when you think of specialty coffee in India, and for good reason. I’ve visited several of their outlets, and each one has its own specific vibe. The one tucked inside Bahrisons Booksellers in Saket is perfect for a quiet read, while the branches in Khan Market, Safdarjung, and Vasant Vihar are always buzzing.

What I love most is how they make high-end coffee accessible. It’s one of the most pocket-friendly specialty brands out there. Whether you want a classic Flat White, a refreshing Coffee Tonic, or their signature Vietnamese Style Iced Coffee for those sweltering summer days, they never miss the mark. If you’re unsure where to start your coffee journey, this is the place.
BBR Coffee by Before British Raj, Siri Fort Road
Over the past year, BBR Coffee has quickly climbed my list of favourites. Located on Siri Fort Road, the cafe offers a lovely, scenic backdrop that makes your morning brew feel a bit more special.

While the coffee is excellent, I’d suggest the Flat White or the experimental Coffee Ginger Fizz Cold Brew, the food is just as much of a draw. Keep an eye out for their Vietnamese Coffee too; the presentation is quite unique compared to what you’ll find elsewhere.
Ikviti in SDA Market
Ikviti is a beautiful, serene space in SDA Market that focuses on oneness and nutritional value. You won’t find your standard cafe food here; instead, the menu is packed with well-planned, healthy options like Millets Khichdi, Chicken Roulade, and the Changemaker’s Steak. They also have a fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
On the drinks front, my usual order is a Flat White, but if it’s a particularly hot day and I’ve already had my caffeine fix, I go for the Tropical Heatwave. It’s a pineapple-based cooler that hits the spot perfectly. It’s a great place to visit if you want something that feels a bit more intentional and wholesome.

SolChemi in Shahpur Jat
I stumbled upon this little gem in Shahpur Jat last month and have already been back several times. SolChemi is peaceful, making it an ideal spot to hunker down with a laptop and get some work done. They even have art supplies at the counter if you fancy a bit of a creative break.
The food has consistently improved with every visit. The Fusilli Al Pesto was a great first impression, and the Vada Pav has since become a staple order for me. Most recently, Chef Gautam introduced Sev Puri to the menu, served elegantly as canapés. It’s quickly becoming my go-to neighbourhood haunt.

Shack Coffee Co.
Tucked away in the narrow lanes of Shahpur Jat, Shack Coffee Co. is a small shop with a big personality. It’s the kind of place where you’ll always find good conversation and a dedicated community of regulars. They roast their own beans, specifically the Siri Blend, which is what they use for all their in-house drinks. It’s incredibly aromatic, and you can even buy a bag to take home.
Their food menu is small but curated. I highly recommend the Cinnamon and Sugar Toast or the Portobello and Tomato Panini to go with your cuppa. It’s a great little spot that feels more like a community hangout than just a retail outlet.
