Alia Bhatt's Mallorca Holiday: What To Do On A Girls' Trip To Spain

Alia Bhatt has stepped away from her busy shooting schedule for a girls' trip to Mallorca, Spain. She is holidaying with her best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and their close group of friends. Akansha shared a photo dump from the trip on Instagram, and it has been doing the rounds online since.

Alia Bhatt’s Spain Vacation 

The trip comes right after Alia was a bridesmaid at Akansha's intimate home wedding in Mumbai, where Akansha married filmmaker Sharan Sharma. Now the friends are enjoying a more relaxed time together by the sea. Akansha captioned the post "This and nothing else", which pretty much sums up the mood. Alia's mother, Soni Razdan, commented, "best girls in the world."

Sea, Sun And Sunsets at Mallorca 

The photos show the group on motorboat rides over deep blue water and lounging along rocky coves. They also spent time café-hopping, sipping drinks at sunset and exploring local sights on a classic wooden tram. There are a few candid pictures too, including one of Alia and Akansha hugging.

Decoding Alia's Vacay Fit

Alia kept her looks easy and fun. She wore a red bikini with a white bandanna, and another day a white bikini with a lace cover-up and a printed headscarf. For an evening out against a hilltop town, the girls dressed up, and Alia picked a red gown.

Things To Do In Mallorca With Friends

Mallorca has plenty for a girls' trip, whether you want a lazy break or a packed one.

• Hop on a boat: Yacht and motorboat rides are one of the best ways to see the coves, which is what Alia and her friends did.
• Ride the old wooden tram: The classic tram in Sóller is a fun, easy outing and great for photos.
• Walk around Valldemossa: This hill village has cobbled lanes, stone houses and cosy cafés, perfect for a slow afternoon.
• Spend a day in Palma: The old town has the grand cathedral, small shops and plenty of places to stop for tapas.
• Chase a sunset: Pick a beach or a hilltop spot, carry some drinks, and let the evening do the rest.

Mallorca Was Already In The Spotlight

The Spanish island has been a major European holiday hotspot. The island got a lot of young crowds' attention this year after the Prime Video film The Last Sunrise, which was released on August 26. It is a summer romance starring Maia Reficco, Fernando Lindez and Eva Longoria, based on Anna Todd's novel. 

The film was shot in Mallorca, and it shows places like the mountain village of Valldemossa and the old Sa Fortalesa fortress near Pollensa Bay. Many viewers have been adding the island to their travel lists since.
