How To Reach Mussoorie?

Mussoorie is a popular hill station located very close to the capital city of Uttarakhand, Dehradun. To get to Mussoorie, fly or take a train to Dehradun and then take a bus or cab from there. Or you can take Bus or self drive from Delhi or nearby places like Chandigarh. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive from Dehradun to Mussoorie, with gorgeous views along the route.

Visiting Mussoorie's mall road is absolutely mandatory. It stretches for a few Kilometers where you can walk, do shopping, eat delicious food and have a great time. There are numerous shops, cafes, viewpoints and a lot of other things to do which you will enjoy.

Gun Hill Point

From the Mall road, you can take a ropeway to the Gunhill point. The place is a little commercialized but you will surely enjoy your visit. The sights from this viewpoint are quite breathtaking and spectacular which you cannot miss. Visit this point during the time of sunset and witness one of the most beautiful sunsets ever.

Kempty Fall

Check out Kempty Fall, one of the most popular waterfalls in the hill station. It really is a beautiful waterfall. Just below the waterfall is a swimming pool where you may swim and have a good time. However, keep in mind that the place can get really crowded, so it's best to reach the location early to make the best out of your visit.

Company Garden

Company Garden is a popular picnic spot in Mussoorie, which is filled with a variety of beautiful flowers, eating joints and children rides. Clouds End is a landmark indicating the geographical end of Mussoorie. It is surrounded by an oak and deodar forest. Clouds End is about 7 kilometres from Mussoorie's main city and is noted for its stunning vistas of the hills and  relaxing atmosphere. At Clouds End, there is also a heritage building built by some British in 1838 which is a tourist attraction.

George Everest Peak

George Everest Peak is a very special place. To reach the top of the George Everest peak, there is a small trek involved, which is well worth it, with gorgeous scenery along the way.
