The first location on the list is Aga Khan Palace. The palace was built in 1892 by Mahomed Shah Aga Khan III. It was built to employ India's famine-stricken villagers. He employed 1,000 villagers, and the palace was built in five years for just around 12 lakh rupees.
It played a huge role in the freedom struggle of India and encapsulates the stories of great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi beautifully. The palace is open from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. Parvati Hill is a beautiful hilltop (cleanest hill station) that gives you a panoramic view of the whole city. You have to climb 108 stairs to reach the top of the hill. There is a Parvati temple situated on top of it.
