Situated on the lofty peaks of Derbyshire is a quaint village named Castletown. It was also one of the primary shoot locations for Game Of Thrones. A castle here is the filming location for The Vale of Arryn in the show, from where enemies were pushed through the infamous moon door.
The limestone formation and surrounding mountains make it an exquisite spot for shooting a mediaeval drama like House Of The Dragon. Other than the castle, Eldon Hill Quarry, Cave Dale and Market Place have also been spotted in various scenes of the series. One can take a bus or tram service from London to Derbyshire. It is a hassle-free ride.

If you have watched Game Of Thrones, you would remember Pentos. It was a city located near Westeros. While it had a different name in the fictional world, in the real world, it is La Calahorra, a municipality in the east of Granada, Spain.
In House Of The Dragon, it is portrayed as the House of Targaryen. The castle is called Castillo de La Calahorra amongst natives. Granada has an airport, however, it is only a couple of hours' ride from Seville.
