Now the new Thai Tourism and Sports Minister, Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn's proposal is giving us more reasons to head to this beautiful destination. He has proposed a 15-day free-visa travel for Indian and Chinese tourists. As per this new proposal, Thailand will waiver off the visa fee on arrival for tourists from 18 countries. This step is being taken to stimulate growth of tourism.
Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha in an interview said, "The cabinet approved the extension of fee waivers until April 2020." The on-arrival fee for Indian travellers is 2000 BAHT which will be waived off till next year April.
