Akshay Kumar, hailing from New Delhi (Chandni Chowk), later made his way to Mumbai. He started off as a waiter and dishwasher in Bangkok but overcame all obstacles to find success in showbiz. Akshay made his Bollywood debut in 1991 with the film Saugandh. However, it was the suspense thriller Khiladi in 1992 that truly catapulted him to stardom, and he has never looked back since then.
