We all need a kajal and an eyeliner which does not budge from its place. Stays till we drop by the end of the day, does not need reapplication right? Well, I found the perfect one and my search is now over. I got addicted to Plum Natur Studio All Day Wear Kohl Kajal in Black few months ago and here is my review.

Claims

This kajal is ophthalmologically approved pencil with a gel-liner like performance. It is 100% smudge-proof, water-proof single-swipe brilliant black kohl-cum-liner which is gentle on your eyes. What's more? The brand claims that the pencil is encased in a pvc-free barrel.

Main Ingredients

Hydrogenated Castor Oil: This makes the pencil highly hydrating and nourishing for the skin and the hydrogenation makes it compatible with the other ingredients.

Rice Bran Wax: This ingredient is an effective moisturiser which makes the kajal creamy and the formula hydrating.

Natural Vitamin E: This ingredient is a known antioxidant skincare specialist.

Packaging

kajal pack

This kajal is very pretty. Maybe it is because purple is my favourite colour but the pencil is sleek and stands out due to the bright purple colour. The branding is in white so that it is visible. It is travel-friendly and sturdy as well.

However, it needs to be sharpened often and is not retractable. It comes with a sharpener in addition. The sharpener that comes along with it gives it that perfect tip that you need for a winged eyeliner look.

Price

Originally it is for Rs 495 but you can get for a good discount here.

Fragrance

It has no perfumed fragrance.

My Experience

swatch

I have dry skin so this kajal lasts on me all day long. It is waterproof and if accidentally I touch my eyes, it does not smudge. It is not at all heavy on the eyelids and has a smooth application. I personally use this as a kajal and an eyeliner both and my eyeliner is really thick so I sharpen it often. But if you want to use it just as a kajal then it will last longer.

winged kajal

It is extremely dark as you can see in the swatch which is the first stroke. It is pitch black, unlike the result many other branded kajals give. However, the only catch is that if you have oily lids then the lasting power is not that much.

Pros:

  • Beautiful packaging.
  • Soft, creamy, gel-based.
  • Single-swipe darkest black.
  • Long-lasting.
  • 100% smudge-proof and water-proof.
  • Vitamin E enriched.
  • Preservative-free.
  • Paraben-free.
  • Mineral oil-free.
  • paraffin-free.
  • Dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested & approved.
  • It doesn’t irritate and sting my eyes.
  • 100% vegan formula.
  • Not tested on animals.

Cons:

  • Not a retractable pencil so while sharpening the pencil, there is product wastage.
  • Slightly on the expensive side but great if you get it on discount

My Verdict

I am an addict of this kajal. I finish one pencil every month and have already bought a stack to last me the whole year.
