Here are salon-approved tips to soothe and revive stressed skin:
Remy Albuquerque recommends using a face wash or cleanser, rub coconut oil or a pre-cleanser oil on your skin. This helps lift the colours naturally without excessive rubbing.
Remy advises using a mild cleanser with aloe vera or lavender that can help soothe the skin. Avoid products with alcohol or harsh chemicals.

Namika recommends applying a cooling gel mask with cucumber, aloe vera, or hyaluronic acid to calm inflammation.
After a day or two, according to Amy, you can use a gentle exfoliator to remove any remaining light colours without irritating your skin.

Amy advises using a toner with rice water and rose water to soothe the skin and minimise pores.
Namika advises using a hyaluronic acid serum to restore lost hydration. A vitamin C serum helps repair and brighten dull, post-Holi skin.
Amy recommends applying a thick layer of moisturiser, shea butter, or aloe vera gel to restore hydration and help your skin heal.

According to Namika, use soothing under-eye gels for tired, puffy eyes. Apply hydrating and moisturising lip masque to heal dry lips and cuticle oil to nourish the cuticles.

Apart from topical application, it’s important to hydrate well with coconut water, herbal teas, and fresh fruit juices. You should eat antioxidant-rich foods like berries, nuts, and leafy greens to aid skin repair.
