Actress Patralekha who made her Bollywood debut with director Hansal Mehta's Hindi film CityLights, with Rajkummar Rao as the male lead, has flawless skin and it is not easy to care for it when you are facing so many camera lights, the stress of the crazy work hours. We all may be under lockdown right now but once it over we all will get back to our normal lives and it becomes important to take care of our skin. So Patralekha shared a few hacks and beauty secrets that she herself follows and here they are:

One should wash the face with rose water and after five minutes a base of lotion and sunscreen ought to be applied. Make a point to slap on some non-oily sunscreen. The rose water keeps the skin feeling fresh. 


Always carry a compact with you and clean the sponge regularly as a lot of bacteria tends to sit on it and get trapped in the sponge which can lead to breakouts.

Drink a lot of water to keep yourself hydrated. Not just water, a naturally extracted juice is also important to carry with you as it keeps you refreshed and it also curbs the cravings. An orange or cucumber or a kiwi juice would be great option.

When you come home after work or wherever put on a face mask. This works very well for a combination skin tone. Patralekha told a news agency that she puts two masks together, one tends to the dry skin and other for combination skin.

On the work front, the actress was last seen in a Hindi web Badnaam Galli which was released on ZEE5 on last year. The film is about a surrogate mother.
