The Shattila Ekadashi is observed on the Ekadashi Tithi of the Krishna Paksha of the Magh month every year. It is named Shattila because, on this day, sesame is used in six different ways according to the scriptures. This year, the Shattila Ekadashi will be observed from 05:24 pm on February 5, 2024, till 04:07 pm on February 6, 2024. The devotees are advised to observe the fast on February 6, 2024, according to the Udaya Tithi as per the Hindu calendar.

On the day of Shattila Ekadashi, you are supposed to take a bath and worship in the Brahma Muhurat which will be observed from 05:30 am to 06:21 am on February 6. The Abhijeet Muhurta will last from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm. According to the expert, the Shubh Muhurat for puja on Shattila Ekadashi is from 10:02 in the morning to 02:18 in the afternoon.
