Thangalaan OTT Release Date And Platform
Chiyaan Vikram starrer Thangalaan was earlier released in August 2024 and became a raging hit. Unlike other films, this movie made a silent drop for its digital release. The movie is all set to release on OTT platforms on December 10, 2024. It will be available to watch on the streaming platform Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
Studio Green took to social media X (formerly Twitter) to share the OTT release date and platform details.
The movie took quite a long time to mark its OTT release, unlike other films that become available on OTT platforms after four weeks of their theatrical release. There were speculations about the financial issues between the director and OTT platforms which led to this delay. With the OTT debut, the movie will get global coverage and Chiyaan Vikram fans are excited to watch this epic drama from the comfort of their homes.

Directed by Pa Ranjith and jointly produced by Studio Green and Neelam Productions, the movie Thangalaan was made around Rs 105 crore worldwide which counted as a mediocre performance at the box office. However, the screenplay, actor’s performance and film’s conceptualisation were up to the mark and received appreciation from the fans.
