The new Netflix hospital Korean drama ‘Daily Dose of Sunshine’ has a star-studded cast that includes Park Bo-young, Yeon Woo-jin, Jang Dong-yoon, and Lee Jung-eun in the main roles. The series is directed by Lee Jae-gyu. Based on the Kakao webtoon of the same Korean title, ‘Daily Dose of Sunshine’ features real-life events from author Lee Ra-ha, a former nurse. Park Bo-young, Yeon Woo-jin, Jang Dong-yoon, and Lee Jung-eun play the lead role in ‘Daily Dose of Sunshine’. The vibrant drama Daily Dose of Sunshine, which is set in a hospital and stars Park Bo-young, marks the reunion of ‘All of Us Are Dead’ director Lee Jae-kyu with Netflix. Jung Da-eun, a nurse who was just sent to a neuropsychiatry unit (role played by Park Bo-young). She finds it difficult to transition to the new field, but with Song Hyo-jin, the chief nurse (role played by Lee Jung-eun), she gains confidence and expertise. In the meanwhile, she meets Song Yoo-chan (role played by Jang Dong-yoon), an intelligent young man with a secret, and also becomes close to proctologist Dong Go-yoon (role played by Yeon Woo-jin).
In the teaser for the drama, Hyo-shin introduces Jung Da-eun, a newbie, to the Department of Psychiatry. When Da-un first sees the patients, she says, "Dealing with patients feels very alien," and she expresses her concern that she won't know how to help them heal. Amid the ward's chaos, Hyo-shin comforts her, telling her that "The darkest of nights cannot go on forever. Soon enough, the morning light will shine."

In the trailer we saw, Jung Da-eun is moved to the psychiatry department from internal medicine. She struggles, however, to adapt to a very different environment. The way mental health sufferers construct their own imaginary world is shown in the trailer. The medical team finds it difficult to maintain control of the situation.
