Maharani Season 4 Teaser: Huma Qureshi Is Back As Rani Bharti

The teaser for Maharani season 4, lasting almost a minute, starts with ominous background music and Qureshi's Rani Bharti strolling, in a pensive mood, inside her office. Then, her monologue starts.

"Kisine humko gawaarin kahan (some called me illiterate), kisine hatyaran (some called me murderer), toh kisine bhavi pradhan mantri (while some called me the future prime minister). Lekin humko satta se nahi (but I am not driven by power)...parivaar se moh hai (my heart beats for my family)," Bharti states.

"...Kahe ki Bihar hi humra asli parivaar hai (and Bihar is my true family). Aur agar humre parivaar ko nuksaan pahochaya toh hum uska satta hila denge (And if anyone dares to harm my family, I will shake the very foundation of their rule)," she roars, and the teaser cuts to a throne atop a chess board, ultimately revealing the show's name and "streaming soon" announcement.

The teaser, set entirely in the chamber and focused on Bharti's movements, was a gripping watch. The circling of the dome paperweight, ultimately revealing the desk nameplate that has "Rani Bharti, Mukhyamantri" written on it, was a classic touch.

While sharing the teaser, Sony LIV wrote on YouTube, "Ho jaiye taiyaar Maharani ka swagat karne chauthi baar!"

While the plot is being kept under wraps, we can expect Bharti's challenges to go several notches higher this time. After facing betrayal, power struggles, and political battles, she is now gearing up to face much more dangerous enemies. And this time, they may cross boundaries and come from outside the state.

Maharani season 4 began filming late in February this year. Kangra Talkies, the series producer, posted the same on their social media channels with a carousel of pictures, captioning it, "Your love made this possible! After three incredible seasons, we’re back with Season 4."

Created by Subhash Kapoor, Maharani season 4 has Puneet Prakash as director and Anurag Solanki as cinematographer or director of photography.

Maharani season 4 will release soon on Sony LIV.
