Euphoria Season 3 Episode 6 Ending Explained: With the new episode of ‘Euphoria’ here, fans are still trying to process everything that happened with the characters. In ‘Euphoria’ season three episode six, we delve into Alamo’s past, see Rue finally getting redemption, and Cassie begins her new career as an actress. Things have also gotten more complicated between Jules and Rue. Fans will get to see a wholesome moment happen for Rue in this episode as well. Euphoria Season 3 Episode 6 Ending Explained: Rue Finally Gets A Win

In last week’s episode, we saw Rue being buried up to her neck in the dirt and Alamo threatening to pummel her head off. After five episodes of watching Rue get buried alive, betrayed, and squeezed from every direction, we see her get out of this situation as well. She regains Alamo’s trust by revealing Faye’s identity as the getaway driver. 

In episode six, ‘Stand Still and See’, Rue finally gets to breathe a sigh of relief. Rue meets with the DEA handlers under the bridge, and they are very pleased with her, telling her that if everything goes to plan, the people she helped expose will spend the rest of their lives behind bars. As for Rue, she has done her job and kept her word, so the US attorney is expected to look at her case favourably. "You did good, kid," they tell her. She closes her eyes and thanks God. It is the first real win she has had all season, and it hits hard. 

While Rue waits in church, she finally gets to talk to her mother. She tells her about how she wants to start a new chapter and needs to forgive all her past mistakes. Their sweet call ends with her mom saying ‘I love you’ to Rue, and this was honestly the best scene in the entire episode.

Alamo’s Back Story 

This week’s episode opens with flashback scenes from Alamo’s childhood, showing his life with his mother. Rue’s narration describes Alamo’s mother as “the coldest female Alamo ever knew,”

Next, we see Alamo’s mother introduce him to Preston, a kind man with terrible burn scars on his face. While Preston slowly wins over young Alamo, a robbery happens at their house, wiping them clean of everything they have. 

Alamo’s mother takes him to a new location, which is her real boyfriend’s house and is filled with things robbed from Preston’s home. That betrayal was everything and changed Alamo forever. It was that incident which brought Alamo to the conclusion that “For as long as he lived, never again would a bitch outsmart him.”

Maddy And Alamo’s Joint Business

The duo who have joined forces are Maddy and Alamo. She is building her empire one photoshoot at a time, but Alamo is not the business partner she thinks he is. Maddy brings Cassie, Kitty, and Magick to the Silver Slipper for a raunchy photoshoot and then tells Alamo that it would help to give the girls some time off. Maddy wants to take them out, introduce them to people, and start building their public profiles, pointing out that they work six days a week. Alamo refuses outright, says the girls are his money, and accuses her of trying to steal them. Bishop vouches for Maddy and keeps her safe for now, but the tension between her ambition and Alamo's ownership is a ticking time bomb going to bring new trouble in the upcoming episodes.

Cassie’s Rise To Fame

Cassie is the happiest she has ever been right now. She is starting her acting career with Brandon on ‘LA Nights’, and has memorised her few lines religiously. While Cassie thought she had everything in control, during filming, a line from Brandon brings back the nightmare she lived with Naz and Nate after the wedding.

We then see her blurt out that she deserved to be hit, also admitting she stole Nate from her best friend. The showrunner, Patty Lance, interprets Cassie's breakdown as raw talent and offers her a bigger role, on the condition that she deletes her OnlyFans account. After spending some time pondering over this decision, Cassie eventually hits delete, giving her a full shot at something real. 

While fans have still not forgiven her for betraying Maddy, they felt like she deserved this happiness after her disastrous, bloody wedding and finding out her husband is knee deep in debt. 

Jules’s Crash Out With Rue

The couple who have had a more complicated, toxic relationship than Cassie and Nate have to be the pens Jules shares with Rue. While the duo recently slept together, Rue was talking about how having traditional American problems like kids would make her a better, more accountable person. Jules strongly disagrees with these points, but Rue is barely sober. In the midst of this heated tension, Jules calls their recent hookup a mistake. The argument escalates after Rue calls Jules a toy that Ellis keeps hidden away, and Jules completely loses it. Jules then slaps Rue, and we see her fall into the canvas Jules had been painting. Jules proceeds to kick  Rue out of her penthouse with 45 minutes left until Ellis’s arrival. Rue wants Jules to become a reason to live. Jules refuses to be turned into somebody else's rescue plan, and we saw her side of the story during her special episode as well. 

With the chaos that happened in this episode, one thing that made fans happy was Rue getting her redemption arc. Let’s hope things get better moving forward, as we are very close to the season ending, with only two more episodes left!
