About Fezco’s Character In Euphoria 

Angus Cloud’s character Fezco, played a significant role in how the story of this show played out. Fezco O'Neill, also known as Fez, was a drug dealer who used to attend the same school as the rest of the cast. While Fezco dropped out of high school, his compassion, love, and care for his friends, especially Rue, never changed. 

From the very first season, we see Fezco trying to take care of Rue and help her stay sober while she battles through her drug addiction. He used to stay with his grandmother, Marie O'Neill, who was a drug dealer and taught Fez everything about her business. Fez also had an adopted brother, Ashtray. 

In the first season of this show, we see Fezco have beef with Nate Jacobs as he called the cops on him. Fezco took his revenge on Nate by brutally injuring him during season two’s New Year's Party. We also see Fezco develop a close bond with Lexi in season two. During the season finale of season two, we see a SWAT team raiding their house. In the shootout that takes place, Ashtray gets killed, and Fezco’s life ahead is left for viewers to interpret.

For ‘Euphoria’ season three, we get to hear about Fezco and where he is from in Rue’s conversation with Lexi. Rue tells Lexi to call Fezco and tell him how much he misses her. From this episode, we see that Fezco is serving 30 years in federal prison. 

According to media reports, Sam Levinson, the creator of ‘Euphoria’, has confirmed that fans will get to hear from their beloved Fez in a phone call this season. Fans have a theory that the upcoming episode is going to be the one where we get to see Fezco again. The title of ‘Euphoria’ season three episode three is ‘The Ballad of Paladin’. This is the title of a song from the movie ‘Stand by Me’, the same movie that Fez and Lexie were watching in season two. It is also the movie which Lexi’s play was inspired by. 

This song, ‘The Ballad of Paladin,’ is a western theme song which fits right into the aesthetics of the third season. Fans who have shipped Lexi and Fez together are really excited to catch them back together. From Rue and Lexi's conversation earlier this season, we can tell that Lexi does miss him but has not talked to him ever since he got arrested and sent to jail.
