As excitement grows around Ranveer Singh's large-scale espionage drama 'Dhurandhar', the OTT premiere date for the film has already been locked. While its theatrical release date is on December 5, 2025, 'Dhurandhar' is directed by National-Award-winning filmmaker Aditya Dhar, making it one of the most talked-about films of the year. When and Where to Watch Dhurandhar Online

'Dhurandhar' will stream on Netflix following its theatrical release, according to a report by OTTPlay. The platform has reportedly acquired the digital rights of the film, and it is expected to be released on Netflix on January 30, 2026.

However, an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited, with fans keeping a close watch for the announcement.

Dhurandhar Plot

Touted as a spy action film based on real events, the plot of 'Dhurandhar' centres around a fearless Indian intelligence operative who infiltrates Pakistan's Lyari region, a landscape notorious for its crime. Ranveer Singh plays a RAW agent known by the codename 'The Wrath of God'. The plot follows the agent as he undertakes a Black Ops mission that tests his bravery, ethics, and survival skills while breaking through a web of terror.

Previously, there were rumours that the life of Major Mohit Sharma, an Ashoka Chakra awardee, inspired the film. However, director Aditya Dhar said that the film is not based on his life.

According to Bollywood Hungama, 'Dhurandhar Part 1's run time is around 3.5 hours, but the final length is under wraps. The process of acquiring the censor certificate has already begun. When confirmed, 'Dhurandhar' would become the longest Bollywood film in recent times.

Reports also indicate that 'Dhurandhar' might be a two-part series, with the second part expected to arrive around mid-2026.

Dhurandhar Cast

'Dhurandhar' brings together some of the finest actors. Starring Ranveer Singh as the lead hero, the film also features Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Naveen Kaushik, Manav Gohil, among others.

The film is written and directed by Aditya Dhar, and co-produced by him along with Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of B62 Studios and Jio Studios. The music and background score are created by Shashwat Sachdev, while the cinematography is handled by Vikash Nowlakha, and the editing is led by Shivkumar V. Panicker.
