Beyond Ranveer Singh's intense leading role, the film also features an impressive line-up including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun. Each character is to play an important part in the high-octane action drama.
The makers also shared the character posters introducing the main cast: Ranveer Singh at 'The Wrath of God', Akshaye Khanna as 'The Apex Predator'. Sanjay Dutt as 'The Jinn', R Madhavan as 'The Charioteer of Karma', and Arjun Rampal as 'The Angel of Death'.
While the character names have not been revealed yet, the one-liners with the posters offer interesting glimpses into each character's role. In July, the makers also unveiled the short teaser of the film, featuring Ranveer and rest of the cast.

The film is rumoured to be based on real-life incidents, reportedly inspired by India's National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval or a renowned army officer.
On the other hand, many fans believe that Ranveer might be played by Major Mohit Sharma, a Para Special Forces Officer, who carried out daring covert operations in Pakistan under the alias 'Iqbal' and successfully infiltrated terror networks. The first look of Ranveer in 'Dhurandhar' shows him in a bearded, youthful appearance, resembling Sharma who was disguised as a terrorist to undercover missions.
However, the makers have kept the official storyline details under wraps, offering no official confirmation.
The runtime of 'Dhurandhar' is expected to be 3 hours and 5 minutes, with many speculating it may be a two-part saga. As per a source quoted in Bollywood Hungama, "The film will be the first installment. It'll end at a decisive point, and the story will then continue in the second part." If plans are on track, 'Dhurandhar Part 2' may arrive in 2026.
