Travelling with a baby can feel overwhelming, but the right preparation and tools can transform it into a smooth and enjoyable experience. Whether you're planning a quick outing or a longer trip, having essentials designed for babies and parents in mind, makes all the difference. Mr Rajesh Vohra, CEO of Artsana India (Chicco) on behalf of Chicco Research Centre, Gurgaon shared some stress-free travel tips with a baby.
Here are the essential stress free travel tips with a baby:
Mr Vohra highlighted that a well-designed stroller is a must have for stress-free travel with your baby, combining comfort, safety, and convenience. He recommends opting for a compact, foldable design that fits easily into car trunks or overhead storage, and smooth wheels with suspension for effortless navigation on crowded streets or uneven terrain. Adjustable seats with ample padding keep your baby cosy during outings, while storage baskets ensure you stay organised with essentials like diapers, bottles, and toys. Most importantly, a reclining seat and a sun canopy provide comfort during naps and protect your baby from harsh sunlight or chilly breezes, making it ideal for travel in any season.
Travelling with a baby often means managing unexpected fussy moments. Rajesh advises opting for a well-designed soother for such times. He recommends considering silicone soothers with an ergonomic shape to maintain the tongue’s physiological posture up against the palate. This position is fundamental to promote the correct development of the mouth and palate and to train the mouth’s vital functions i.e. breathing, sucking, swallowing, chewing, and phonating. Plus, their easy-to-clean and durable design makes them ideal for travel.
