Jaisalmer Desert Festival 2023 is going to be the 44th edition of the event. It will be filled with fun activities, long spread of scrumptious food, exhibitions, concerts and whatnot. Every year, many celebrities participate here and deliver astounding performances.

On February 3, the festival will commence with an Aarti at Shri Laxminath Ji Temple at the Jaisalmer Fort. Post-veneration will be the Shobha Yatra, where people will cover the distance from the fort to the Shahid Poonam Singh stadium.

The festival will be inaugurated followed by the release of golden balloons (Golden Skies event). On the first day, you will witness mesmerising performances by folk dancers.
There will be other competitions in which you will be able to participate. The list includes the moustache competition, Mr Desert competition, Moomal Mahendra competition, art camp and photography competition, Miss Moomal competition and turban tying competition.
In the evening, you will see celebrities like Salim Sulaiman performing. The day will end with fiery fireworks.
The second day of the Jaisalmer Desert Festival will start with instrumental music and yoga (benefits of yoga for mental health) classes. After that, you can participate in the Shan-E-Marudhara competition, Camel decoration competition, Tug of War between men and women and Panihari Matka Race competition.
In the evening, you can participate in camel safaris and other activities in the Village Khuhdi. There will be cultural programmes, fireworks and artists leaving you stunned with their performances.

On the third and final day of the Jaisalmer Desert Festival, you can participate in sighting peacocks or enjoying live musical performances in the Khabha Fort. You can also indulge in Rangoli, Mandana and Wall painting competitions that will be taking place in Kuldhara Deserted Village.
There is going to be a horse race, camel race, horse dance and celebrity concerts. The festival will end with a firework display.
