The Adiyogi Shiva statue stands impressively at 112 feet tall, 82 feet wide, and 147 feet long, mirroring the iconic Adiyogi statue at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. More than just a monument, the statue serves as both an inspiration and a place of worship. Its creation aims to motivate individuals to embrace yoga for inner peace. The statue was inaugurated by the Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Basavaraj Bommai, during the Makar Sankranti festival on January 15, 2023. According to the Isha Foundation's official website, the objective of the Chikkaballapur Adiyogi Ashram is to elevate living to an art form that encompasses cultural traditions and spirituality.
