The teaser of the upcoming pan-India mythological film Adipurush starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon that was unveiled in early October had begun a meme fest on social media. While some compared the film with a ‘cheap’ version of the epic television series Game of Thrones, Marvel films, and the Android game Temple Run and other cartoons, some spoke about the portrayal of Raavan by Khan.
The teaser video faced backlashes for the quality of its VFX and netizens called it “caricaturised VFX”. Following which, the makers decided to work on the graphics of the film and postponed the release date of the film from January 2023 to June 2023.
Now, a YouTuber has taken the Internet by surprise with his editing skills as he recreated one of the scenes from the teaser where Prabhas is seen sitting under the water. The Instagram user named Kunwar (@itx_kunwar) posted a short video that starts with Prabhas' scene from the upcoming film and then he goes on to recreate it using a couple of software which results in a visually stunning scene.

“Do you want me to recreate more scenes? Create your own 3D model using,” the YouTuber captioned the video. Some people commented that his VFX is worth Rs 500 crore and wrote, “500 crores adipurush<<<<<<<<this edit”. Another commented, “Your's is pretty close to 500cr VFX...! Amazing man wanna see you in films🙌😍”
Directed by Om Raut, the National award-winning director and the maker of Tanha Ji: The Unsung Warrior, Adipurush is based on the Hindu mythological epic Ramayana. The bilingual film shot in Telugu and Hindi travels 7000 years ago when Ayodhya's king Raghava travels to the island of Lanka. With the help of Hanuman's army, Raghava aims to rescue his wife Janaki, who has been abducted by Lankesh, the king of Lanka.
Prabhas plays the role of Raghava (Lord Ram) and Kriti Sanon plays the role of Janaki. Khan plays the role of Lankesh along with Sunny Singh as Lakshmanaa, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. The film also features Vatsal Seth, Sonal Chauhan, and Trupti Toradmal. The film is a modern adaption of the epic using modern technologies and VFX with a budget of around ₹250 crores.
